about 1.057-1.058 OG, 38-40 IBU, 6% ABV
LOADS of intense Citrus, Floral hop flavor and aroma. Firm, Assertive bitterness. Imminently drinkable.

get off the turnpike! the GSP is the way to go, there is no exit one---only exit zero for cape may and MY exit is 13 into avalon NJ home of the seasonal yuppie! an nice yuppie summer ale crisp and clean and not too heavy for those summer evenings on the beach after the annoying lifeguards go home and the beach is for the locals!! and exit 28 to south ocean city ( a dry town--whats with that?) and a dry lager for the backyard BBQs of summer and the nite in venice boat parade..

A strong, bold beer should be brewed for Secaucus. As a Secaucus native, we are proud of our town, whether it be telling people (in our NY accent) how to correctly pronounce the town's name "SEE - CAW (like saw or paw) - CUSS", discussing if we're from the Northend, Southend or Backroad, telling people Bruce filmed a music video here, a Krajewski ran for Mayor back in the day and the land our house sits on was a pig farm many years ago.
A strong, bold beer...just like us Secaucus natives!

To honor Fort Lee's old Palisades Amusement Park, something summery would be good. A golden ale, a shandy (with lemon or ginger), or a fruit lambic (with strawberry, peach or raspberry) would be appropriate.

The phragmites abundant in the Meadowlands might not be useful in brewing but could inspire a wheat beer. Maybe a murky hefeweizen?

For the Scottish heritage around Kearny, something peaty or aged in scotch barrels.

To honor the heritage of German brewers once in Newark, you could do a German pilsner or lager. Or, since it's the Brick City, how about something with a high brix/high gravity?

Nearby Linden could be inspiration for using linden in a recipe. The American linden is sometimes used to make teas, and contains anti-oxidants and tannins.

Rahway is home to a colonial era landmark tavern, so something colonial, maybe brewed with molasses, could work.

For the large Indian community in Edison, spices used in Indian cooking can be used: cardamom, coriander, fennel seed or tamarind.
